中山古稱香山,作為承載中山“香山”深厚底蘊(yùn)的文化符號(hào),沉香文化是歷史根脈。品香亦是文人雅士的傳統(tǒng)。立春時(shí)分,在中山工作生活英國(guó)籍老師Paul參加了一場(chǎng)特殊的迎春活動(dòng),以茶和沉香為載體,深度融合新春文化元素與自然節(jié)律哲學(xué),在辭舊迎新之際,喚醒身心對(duì)天地復(fù)蘇節(jié)律的敏銳感知,搭建傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代、東方與西方的文化橋梁,讓千年香道文化在當(dāng)代生活中煥發(fā)新活力。

British Friend Welcomes Spring with Incense
Zhongshan, historically known as Xiangshan(Fragrant Hills), boasts a rich and long-standing culture of agarwood incense. The art of appreciating incense has long been cherished by scholars and literati as an elegant tradition. As the Beginning of Spring approaches, Paul, a British teacher working and living in Zhongshan, participated in a unique spring-welcoming event. Centered on tea and agarwood incense, the event deeply integrated elements of Chinese New Year celebration with the philosophy of natural cycle, building a cultural bridge between tradition and modernity, East and West, and revitalizing the millennia-old incense culture in contemporary life.
